A film-voyage on the three architectural styles of Moscow: Stalinist Empire style, Soviet modernism and contemporary architecture, not representing a certain style, but incorporating the elements of the preceding ones. Inverted camera slowly floats along familiar constructions, creating an image of a solar ghost-city, surrounded by bottomless azure. Abandoned houses turn into clean, heavenly architecture and fill the streets with their music frozen in stone: the city itself sings a hymn. If you listen, you can hear in it the echoes of the invariable theme of the Soviet-Russian national anthem, stuck among national symbols like a ship in the ice. V
