Auction has ended
Charitable auctions in support of MMOMA will precede the classic Spring VLADEY auction on May 30. The funds collected in the framework of the charity auction will be spent on the creation and development of the Museum Educational Center.
This new initiative will help consolidate and expand existing educational projects of MMOMA – a lecture hall, a library, children's programs – and present new exhibitions aimed at acquainting a wide audience with the museum's collection, current trends in artistic theory and research in this field.
The center is created taking into account international experience and modern museum technologies, which will allow to expand the variety of visual experience and learn more about contemporary art to all comers, regardless of the level of preparation. The MMOMA Educational Center will become a platform for self-education, creative and social initiatives, academic research.
The educational center will open in autumn 2017 in the building of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art at Ermolaevsky Lane 17.
