Yuri Albert 1959
Representative of Moscow conceptualism. Works with painting, graphics, photography, creates objects and installations. His works are ironic and do not pretend to be primary: he uses citation as one of the means. He reflects on the definition of an artist today in his works, on the perception of art works by the public and on the importance of art in general. Works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pompidou Center.
