Writer, artist, one of the «Mitki» (1980-90’s) group founders, author of the same-called book. Characters in a fur hat, their life is full of adventures and in a free black and white graphic manner of the Soviet underground comics. New works by Shinkarev are minimalistic and almost monochrome – courtyards and streets of gray Petersburg. Works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, in the Russian Museum, the Hermitage Museum.
