Vladimir Potapov1980
Artist, curator. Author of the project ‘Arisen from nowhere’ (2010), which reflects on art in the 21st century. Potapov explores the specifics of mediums by experimenting with academic paintings, graffiti, pigments, with the ‘spacial art’ technique, and stripping off paint layers. His subjects are political and social conflicts, portraits, Soviet representations. Kandinsky Prize nominee (2014). Works are in the MMOMA.
