Inspired by classical painting, Kharlamov creates minimalistic compositions of simple things, as if frozen in deep sleep in the genre of photographic still life. Works with the theme of movement and transformation of the object in the process: uses mixed technique, overlapping several images to achieve a picturesque effect (the project «Metamorphosis», 2010).
