Rinat Voligamsi is known for his paintings that copy the aesthetics and colour array of yellowed photographs from Soviet newspapers. The pseudo-documentary style of his art does not allow an immediate revelation of its inconsistencies and surrealistic logic. His works are presented in the collections of the Russian Museum and the MMOMA.
