An artist, poet, and musician. He worked in the neo-expressionism style of the “New Artists” group. Among his subjects are ironic genre scenes, portraits, and views of Leningrad. For his colours, pictorial style, and black humour, he is called the Russian Basquiat. His works are presented in the collection of The Centre Pompidou (Paris).
