Oleg Khvostov 1972
Oleg Khvostov was a member of “The New Stupid” group (1998–2001). In his portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, he uses contrasting acid colours with gradients and simplified shapes. The characters in the portraits are politicians and cultural figures. The paintings contain allusions to masterpieces of world art.
