Nestor Engelke is a member and one of the founders of the group “North-7”. After graduating from the architectural faculty of the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, he became an architect and often built from wood. The wood, understood by Nestor Engelke as a natural entity, became the principal theme of his art.
