Represents Moscow Conceptualism, was one of the first in the sphere of happenings and performances in the USSR, member and co-author of the group ‘Nest’ (1974-1979). Roshal-Fedorov makes fun of the USSR’s lexicon, points out the irony of the art market, uses ideological cliches by changing mass and elite culture, creating an absurd notion. Participated in the ‘Bulldozer exhibition’ (1974). Works are in the Zimmerli Museum.
