Artist of the unofficial art of Leningrad. Since the late 50's was engaged in abstract painting. Believed that the freely flowing paint and the artist are equal creators of painting as a dramatic and spontaneous process. Art for him is a complex plexus of space and chaos. His works are in the Russian Museum, Art4, the New Museum of Contemporary Art.
