One of the Moscow conceptualism founders. Artist, poet, author of performances, installations. Text played a great role in his works. He ironically deconstructed ideological myths, creating a system of rituals and symbols: an eye, a glass with sacrificial blood, a shell, a newspaper, a black spot. Signs and texts passed into a plastic form – as parts of drawings and installations. Works are in the Tretyakov Gallery.
