Monochrome and sky-like colours with light tone gradations are typical for Paperno’s paintings and graphics. She works with the theme of modern architecture and utopia which is depicted through the imagery of dreams (‘On the Sleeping Arrangements in the Sixth Five-Year Plan’, ‘Norms’, ‘Living space’ series). Participated in the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2009, 2011, 2013, 2015), Prague Biennale (2005), Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art (2017). Works are in MMOMA.
