The artist of the Moscow underground of the 1980’s and 90’s confronts masterpieces of classical world and national painting with heroes of western cartoons and comic books. This incompatible neighborhood broadcasts the theme of the mass culture export and the transformation of masterpieces into a faceless symbol. Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art.
